NEW [UI Languages] Client portal and CAT editor now available in Chinese!

You will now be able to select Chinese as a UI language both in your CAT environment and the client portal. To change the UI language, go to My account>Language preferences.

NEW [Project Settings] Automatic consolidation of Resources to base languages

We have added a new setting that enables you to merge resources to base locale if strict locale does not exist in the Translation Memory. To access this option, go to ''Project Settings'' > ''Resources'' > ''Consolidation'' > ''Configure'' and enable/disable the checkbox: ''Create locale if it does not exist."

If this option is unticked, the project memory will consolidate its contents to the base language without creating a strict locale.

IMPROVED [Resources] More descriptive errors for invalid TMX/TBX files and TMX import with versioned languages

When importing a resource from TMX or other formats, the upload screen now gives a more descriptive error information when the file is corrupt or it contains invalid content. For example, you will be clearly notified when the language code in the TMX file is invalid. This improvement helps you understand what is wrong with the file.

In addition, the import/export of TMX files with versioned language codes (es-US(v3,es-US) does not give errors anymore. Such codes are generated in Wordbee when you use special workflows such as "back translations" or "parallel translations."

FIX [Standard project jobs] Email notifications when changing deadlines

Normally, deadline changes are notified by email to the supplier and manager if they subscribe under 'My Account' to company events. However, when changing the deadline of standard jobs, no such notifications were sent. This has been fixed.

FIX [File formats] XLIFF "2.0"/"2.1"reconstruction

If an XLIFF "2.0"/"2.1" file contains empty source segments, these are now properly rendered when producing the final translation.

When you first change the status of a segment manually, the Autosave function now works as expected. Any manual changes you perform in the Editor are saved automatically.

IMPROVED [Settings] Enhance user operations messages

The activity logs have been improved to show meaningful information to administrator users. These are affecting operations at several levels (project, linguistic references, resource names, and much more).
This enhancement helps the administrator understand which user operations have succeeded or failed.

You can access the "User operations" window from "Settings" the "Activity" tab.

NEW [Project document library] Enhancement to the action links above the File Explorer

The action links allow to upload files, convert from PDF, refresh files and so on. We have reorganized the links into a menu for better usability. One newly added action is to add a Flex Container file - something useful for anyone integrating with the Wordbee Flex API.

NEW [Order Forms] New order form option to adjust client deadline to fall on a workday

The new option automatically moves the deadline typed by the client if it falls on a weekend or office closing day. The option is configured in the order form settings. Go to "Settings", "New order form" and look for the "Order deadline and off-days" option. The feature is disabled by default.

NEW [Project costs] Modification of costs by percentage

Before you create your invoice, it is now possible to modify the costs in client and supplier screens directly in the 'Word counts & cost' tab of a project. Managers also have the possibility to modify the fuzzy reduction amount and additional fee/discount amount directly in that tab.

NEW [Terminology tool] Display all the terms related to a concept in the main list of concepts

The search bar in the Terminology Management space has been updated to include in the list of results any term documented in a database, together with its relation to other terms in that concept. This allows for more refined search capabilities, making it possible for a user to find the terms in the database that match the criteria set in his query. For example:
- If the search criteria match the alternative term, then it will be only displayed without displaying the main term.
- If the language filter contains two languages and the search criteria match a term from the target language, then the main term for the source language will be displayed.
- You can now control the displayed language in the terms list by changing it from the language filter. In case you select two languages, then the source language terms will be displayed.

Wordbee is now integrated with TextShuttle machine translation system. You can add and configure TextShuttle machine translation profiles in Wordbee same as any other machine translation system.

Identical repetition in segments are now translated consistently from the same translation memory. If a match is found in the translation memory, it is now favored over machine translation in all segment occurrences.

Clients and requesters can now submit orders via the client portal without any failures. It is not necessary to select a person in the "delivery cc" field. Your order will be properly displayed in the order list.

Issues in the Translation finder widget have been fixed. Now clicking on segments with project memory matches brings the expected details.
