Finding Custom Field ID

Some reports propose placeholders for custom fields.

For example, report S300 proposes custom field placeholders <#Lines.OrderCF1> to <#Lines.OrderCF20>. These are custom fields for orders.

For the custom fields you have created you thus need to know their internal ID, which is a number between 1 and 20.

Example for order custom fields

Go to the custom field configuration. Click "Settings" in the top navigation menu and then "Custom fields".
In the page click the "Orders" tab to view order related fields:

To get the ID of the first custom field (in our example) click the "Edit" link. In the popup look at the bottom:

The numeric ID of the field is "1". Thus the placeholder to use would be <#Lines.OrderCF1>.
