Finding Custom Field ID
Finding Custom Field ID
Some reports propose placeholders for custom fields.
For example, report S300 proposes custom field placeholders <#Lines.OrderCF1> to <#Lines.OrderCF20>. These are custom fields for orders.
For the custom fields you have created you thus need to know their internal ID, which is a number between 1 and 20.
Example for order custom fields
- Go to the custom field configuration. Click "Settings" in the top navigation menu and then "Custom fields".
- In the page click the "Orders" tab to view order related fields:
- To get the ID of the first custom field (in our example) click the "Edit" link. In the popup look at the bottom:
The numeric ID of the field is "1". Thus the placeholder to use would be <#Lines.OrderCF1>.
