Why is there sometimes discrepancy between monthly invoices total and monthly Jobs cost total?
Answer
The discrepancies may be due to jobs that were completed on one effective date and already included in a previously aggregated invoice but later completed again in the specified time range (probably due to a missing segment or an issue with the translation so the job had to be reopened).
Use case scenario
When comparing the monthly invoices total for a supplier to the monthly jobs cost total assigned to the same supplier, there might be a difference between both costs.
Example:
Navigate to My Company > Invoices – Suppliers.
Apply filter: Supplier name – Effective date – Codyt/Standard.
Click on Show totals.
A pop-up window will show the total costs for the supplier in a given period.
Navigate to Jobs > Codyt jobs > All company jobs.
Apply filter: Supplier name - completion date.
Click on the Actions button and choose Quick view totals.
A pop-up window will show the total cost of the jobs completed by the supplier in a given period.
