1.1 Wordbee Translation Job State Transition
During its life cycle, Wordbee Translation Job has one of the following states:
· Definition
· Ready For Translation
· In Translation
· Retrieving
· Retrieving Failed
· Completed
· Completed With Error
When the translator/editor/admin creates and saves a translation job, translation stays in the ‘Definition’ state. Then it follows below transition algorithm.
· When a translation job sent to Wordbee TMS for translation, the translation job changes its state to ‘Ready For Translation’.
· Then Wordbee Beebox SDL Tridion Connector windows service comes into action and retrieves translated content from SDL Tridion and post that to Wordbee Beebox (and then Beebox send the job to Wordbee TMS). At this point in time, the translation job changes its state to ‘Retrieving’ and then into ‘In Translation’ status. If retrieval of the source component fails, the translation job acquires the status of ‘Retrieving Failed’.
· Whenever content translation exercises completed by Wordbee translators and complete the workflow in Wordbee TMS, Wordbee Beebox SDL Tridion Connector windows service retrieves the content from the Beebox and updates that into SDL Tridion. Upon successful retrieving of content, the translation job changes its state to ‘Completed’. At this stage, the translator can review the translated content and publish that to the content delivery server.
· If the retrieval of translated content back into SDL Tridion fails, the translation job changes its state to ‘Completed With Error’
Here is the flow diagram, which talks about events and translation job states:
