How to count repetitions as a separate category from ''matches'' for invoicing purposes

Use case

You may want to get a word count analysis where repetitions are differentiated from 100% and fuzzy matches so that you can apply different fees in quotes and invoices for unique segments, matches, and repetitions.

There is a new option in the Word Count profile that allows you to amend the counts and store repetitions as a separate category for invoicing purposes. This article shows you how to configure the word count profile.

  1. Go to Settings > Platform Customization > Translation Settings.

  2. Open the Word Counting configuration.

  3. Edit an existing word count profile or add a new one.

  4. Set the fuzzy match Interval 1 to 110% and 110%, see screenshot.

  5. Use the Amend counts option to set Repetitions to 110%.

  6. Scroll to the Repetitions within project settings and Enable repetition counting.

  7. Adjust the rest of the settings if needed, and Save the profile.

If you edit an existing word count profile and you want to apply the changes to all ongoing projects, remember that you need to click on Save & Spread.

Create your project, attach the new word count profile, and configure your pricelist.

Wordbee Translator will analyze your documents and move the 110% matches into the 100% category while recording the repetitions as 110% matches/repetitions. To check the results, managers can download the detailed word count report from Counts & Cost. See .
