If an MT system has been fully enabled, you may want to machine translate full documents manually at any given moment.

Remember

If that should be the default behaviour for the project, then you should attach a specific word count profile. /wiki/spaces/WBT/pages/711078

Who can do this and where?

If access rights have been enabled, in-house users will be able to MT full documents directly in the jobs dashboard of the project.

This option is only available in Codyt projects!

Click on the Machine Translate icon and a popup window will appear where you will need to define the following parameters:

  • The provider, meaning the MT engine to be used (click in manage systems if you need to enter a new one).

  • Which segments should be handled

Remember

If contents are to be retrieved from the resources attached to the project, you may want to chose one of the "untranslated segments only"

Once the configuration is done, you can click on ok to launch the machine translation. When the operation is successfully finished, a confirmation message will appear.

Then you will see that the work progress icon next to your job will show the % the document completed via MT translation in the Translation bar.

Note that segments translated with MT engines are always coloured in gold.

Then you can manually arrange the workflow or assignments, depending on the requirements of your project.
