The first step of the translation workflow is to select the content, we will use 2 approaches to select the content.

  • Beebox Item Context Menu Command: In the Sitecore Content Editor, right click on any item under content and select items using Beebox Item Content Menu. The screenshot below selects the “Home” item using “Translate Item”

  • Beebox Send for Translation Bulk/Quick Action Command: In the Sitecore Content Editor, right click on any item under content and choose search. This brings up the Search interface, search for any text and then facet by language. You will have a nice selection to send to Beebox.

Expand Sitecore Search option, and click on Search Operation and click “Send for Translation”. It should display a success message.

Note: In case, the behavior is not consistent, it may be a case that your Sitecore search is configured to use something else than Lucene search. Please connect support@wordbee.com for a quick resolution.

  • The next step of the translation workflow is to filter the content based on any of the criteria suitable to the business.

    • Launch Content Selector: You can launch Content Selector from the ribbon by selecting Beebox Tabs and Content Selector command or alternatively, choose it from Sitecore applications as shown in figure 1 and figure 2.
    • Add Content to Cart: Select the content by ticking the checkboxes. Click the “Add to Cart” command. Alternatively, one can add them one by one using “Add to Cart” command in the same row in the grid, under action heading.

It should display items added to cart message on successful completion.

Note-: In case, Content Selector does not list any content, please try changing the Translation to everything from the Translation Status dropdown.
