This section shows two use cases in which source-only tasks can help improve the overall quality of your translation.
Source-only task as a preliminary step before a translation workflow
Use case: How to improve the quality of your texts before you submit them for translation.
Set up the project languages
Your working languages and unknown:
>Source (Your working language1)
>Target (Your working language2 and unknown)
Once the first job in the workflow which applies to the source-only task is over, the text will be passed over to the next job. This "final" version of the source text is the one that will be kept in the translation memories further down in the process.
Output
You will see at least 2 jobs:
the first one with a single working language. If you require to work in the Editor, only that language opens for you to edit,
followed by at least one bilingual job where source-target languages are displayed.

Use case: How to proofread the text issued of a translation workflow.
Although the task is defined as "source only", it will only focus on the target language.

>Source (Your working language1)
>Target (Your working language2 and unknown)
Output
You will see at least 2 jobs :
one or several bilingual jobs where source-target languages are displayed
followed by one or more jobs in the target language. If you require to work in the Editor, that will be the only language available for you to edit.
