Because many of our corporate customers expressed an interest in Azure, we have examined the advantages Azure could offer. We have learnt that Microsoft Azure can help enhance the availability, scalability, reliability and security of your Wordbee Translator platform. Most importantly, Azure has the most comprehensive compliance coverage with more than 70 compliance certificates, and it was the first major cloud provider to contractually commit to the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Plan your migration

The following pages show you how to plan the migration and how Wordbee can support you during the process.

Wordbee’s tasks

  • Contact you and prepare all the steps necessary for the migration.

    • We send you the exact date of the change and the new URL of your platform (except for custom domains which remain the same).

    • You prepare the migration on your side. See the Client’s tasks listed below.    

  • A few hours before the migration, a message will appear on your platform alerting the logged-in users.

  • Your platform will be disabled during the migration time that was communicated prior to you.

  • An email is sent to the Administrator(s) of the platform when the migration is complete, no additional action is necessary on your part (except those listed in the Client’s Tasks below).

In case of any issues, Wordbee will interrupt the migration and reactivate your platform on our servers. No data will be lost and everything will be exactly the same as before. We'll solve the problem and plan a new migration date together with you.
