I cannot login

When the login dialog opens, you supply your Wordbee Translator credentials. If you see a "Login failed" message, something is not quite correct!

This may have multiple reasons.

Make sure your credentials are valid

Please remember that your credentials are exactly the same than those you would use to login online into Wordbee Translator.

First thing to do is to ensure that your login still works. Click the "Connect online" link in the login dialog:

This opens Wordbee Translator in your browser. Verify if your login works there. If it does not, please ask the administrator of the platform.

There may be various reasons for failing logins:

  • Your password has expired and you need to create a new one (you do this online).
  • Your login is locked. This happens if you did try to login with a wrong password too many times.
  • The translation service is not enabled for your account. See topic below.
  • The Wordbee Translator manager disabled your login.
  • If you are connecting via Single Sign On (SSO) options, your login may no longer be enabled.

Make sure that the translation service is enabled for you

Proceed as follows:

  • Login online to Wordbee Translator.
  • Hover the mouse over the Order top navigation button
  • Click MT Hive

If you do not see this link then the translation service is not enabled for you. Please contact the manager of the Wordbee Translator platform. He or she can activate the service for you.

Check if your firewall lets you use the translation service

It may be that your private or corporate firewall prevents access to the translation service.

Your firewall must authorize outbound connections to:

You can easily check this with a web browser. Type the following address into the address bar:

If your firewall is ok then you should see "OK":
