As a supplier, you will be required to work in different tasks within projects (jobs). You will need to:

1. Analyse the job details and word count to accept or decline the jobAnalysing the job details is something you will do in the platform dashboards, as described in this page above.

Once you have decided to comit to the task, then you can

2. Confirm your availability (and eventually accept the terms and conditions of your client) and access the CAT editor to perform your job! You can actually perform both of these actions from the Editor, by using the status bar on the top of the screen.

Access the CAT Editor

  • Use the job link that has been sent to you on the email notification:
This link will get you to the Job Details page. Then, depending on the job type you can direclty click on:
    • Conduct Work (for Standard jobs).

    • Translate (for Codyt jobs).
  • Navigate using the Jobs widget in the home page to the jobs page(s) for either Codyt or Standard.

  • Navigate using the main bar to the jobs page>All my jobs and do the same as above for the jobs that are already assigned to you. Depending on your user profile, you may be able to see "all company jobs" and enter the CAT editor for other tasks and projects available to your whole team (job openings not yet confirmed too)

Confirm your availability

Change the status of your job to "In progress" so it is clear that you are working on the document. You will find this option in the top of the screen

You will notice it is not possible to edit the segments of your job unless if you have confirmed your availability for the task:

Remember

Note that if you are part of a group assignment, other users may get exclusive access to the file if they confirm faster than you do!)

You can learn about all the possibilities of the Job bar within the editor in the dedicated page

Once you confirm you will do the job, the locks will disapear and you will have the possibility to edit the segments and use all other features in the Multicolumn Editor.
