NEW New 'Invite Link' for Admins to Email API 2 Credentials Instructions to Users

The revamped Settings > API 2 page offers admins the ability to control API 2 access for users. Previously, enabled users had to retrieve their API key from the "My account" page. Now, with an enhanced feature, admins can directly send an email invitation containing a hyperlink. Upon opening, this link reveals the user's API key along with useful instructions for API usage. This substantial upgrade aims to simplify and expedite the process of onboarding API users.

NEW New Placeholder for Job Instructions in Job-Related Email Notifications

We are pleased to announce that a new placeholder {{JobInstructions}} is available for addition to your job notification templates. This new placeholder is designed to hold the specific instructions associated with Standard jobs. However, it's important to note that this feature does not apply to Codyt jobs, leaving the corresponding field blank. To incorporate this placeholder into your email notifications, navigate to "Settings," then select "Email notifications," and proceed to edit the "Job notification template." IMPROVED Notification Emails for Project Outsourcing: Now Includes Additional Details on the Order Linked to the Project

When outsourcing entire projects to external vendors, a capability that requires a subscription option, an email notification is sent to the vendor. We have added more useful details to the email: Information about the client order linked to the project such as the order ID and reference, the languages and the order requestor name.

IMPROVED Outsourced Projects Search: Vendors Can Now Filter Outsourced Projects by Assigned External Manager

External project managers now enjoy an upgraded level of control over their outsourced projects list. This enhancement enables vendors to filter projects according to the manager they have assigned to each. This outsourcing feature, introduced a few weeks ago, requires a subscription add-on and vendor-specific activation, offering an optimized approach to managing outsourced projects.

FIX Labels Tab in Statistic View Only Available When R800 Is Enabled

To view the Labels tab in the Statistics view, users must have access right R800 enabled. If R800 is disabled, the Labels tab is not shown. Previously, the label tab was shown but would cause errors when users tried to view it.

FIX Enhanced Number Recognition in Asian Languages for QA Checks

We have resolved a specific issue related to the "OtherNumber" character category in Asian languages that was causing complications during QA checks. Previously, numbers like "①8" were not being recognized correctly as two separate entities: "①" and "8". With our recent fix, the number recognition has been improved, ensuring accurate identification of these distinct elements during QA checks.

FIX Filtering by Label in Statistic View Issue Resolved

Users experienced a problem when filtering segments by labels in the Statistics Overview. This issue has now been resolved and clicking on labels in the Statistics Overview will filter the segments depending on the selected labels and show only those segments that contain the selected labels.

FIX Resolved Issue with Right-to-Left (RTL) Header and Footer Translation in Microsoft Word

Previously, the text direction of the content found in headers and footers in Word files was not displayed correctly when the file was finalized. We have now improved the text direction finalization for LTR to RTL translations, and content in headers and footers will also follow the correct text direction.

FIX Improved Workflow Synchronization Based on Current Job Status

We've resolved a synchronization issue where job states could sometimes become inconsistent due to concurrent updates. We have introduced a mechanism to always fetch the latest job state from the database before making any modifications, ensuring all updates are based on the most current state.

FIX Automatic Target Language QA Profile Configuration for CoDyT Projects

Previously, project managers could not properly configure automatic QA profiles for target languages in CoDyT projects. We have improved the system and PMs can now correctly define automatic QA profiles for target languages in the Workflow & Suppliers tab of CoDyT projects.

FIX Enhancing Client Order Submission: Addressing Invalid Status Change Options for In-house Co-owners

We recently identified and resolved an issue with orders submitted by internal clients. Specifically, when an internal user was added as a co-owner, they faced a problem with their status change rights. Instead of assuming the order client role, the user was mistakenly assigned the order handler role, resulting in incorrect and invalid status change options being available to them.

FIX Statistics View (Pie Chart) in Editor Now Includes Segments with QA Issues

The Statistics view (pie chart) in the Editor now includes segments with QA issues, allowing users to filter and analyze data effectively. The problem preventing the display of segments with QA issues has been resolved, enhancing the overall functionality and usability of the Editor.

FIX Resolved Greater Than and Less Than Markup Hover Display Inconsistencies

Previously, the greater-than (>) and less-than (<) symbols were incorrectly displayed as square brackets ( ] ) when hovering over the markup in the Editor. We have now fixed this issue and both symbols are now displayed correctly when users hover over the markup.

IMPROVED API 1 Update: Authentication and Subsequent API Calls Now Permitted from Different IP Addresses

In the previous setup, the authentication process for API 1 required recording the IP address of the originating request. Subsequently, any requests made using the authentication token were expected to come from the same IP address. If the IP address deviated, a 401 error would occur. To improve this system, we have made enhancements by removing the requirement for a specific IP address check. Instead, we have implemented IP address whitelisting to maintain the same level of security. This change allows for greater flexibility to accommodate situations where IP addresses may change, such as when using proxy servers.
