New
Managers can now closely monitor the quality of their resources (translation memories, project memories and terminology databases) and track the work of the linguists with the help of the Maintenance and Statistics Dashboard. The dashboard can extract information from Wordbee Translator about the number of segments/concepts/terms created or updated by specific users within a specific date range. This is particularly useful when errors have been introduced in resources and you want to find out who is responsible for that error.

How to access the Maintenance and Statistics dashboard

Only managers with access rights R600 can view and use the resource statistics dashboard.

  1. Go to Settings > Customization > Access Rights > Managers.

  2. Enable access rights R600 - Can access all resources.

After R600 has been enabled, you will be able to view the Maintenance and Statistics icon both in your CAT tool and the Terminology Manager Editor.

CAT tool:

  1. Open a document in the Translation Editor interface.

  2. Go to the View menu and select the Maintenance and Statistics from the dropdown options.

Terminology Management Editor:

  1. Open one of your termbases in the Terminology Management Editor.

  2. Click on the Maintenance and Statistics icon you see on the upper right corner, next to New concept.

How to use the Maintenace and Statistics Dashboard

You can use the Maintenance and Statistics Dashboard to monitor the work of the workers who contributed to your translation and/or terminology projects. You will be able to track the changes (creation/updates) performed in the database by three criteria: by date, by user, according to their status and bookmarks.

Example 1

To view the number of concepts modified in a terminology database, open the termbase in the Editor and then access the Maintenance and Statistics. A dashboard will open showing you a summary of the changes.

  1. Select the language and the time frame you want to check and click on Apply.

  2. You can search using the following filters:

    • Status and bookmarks

    • Concepts by user

    • Terms by user

    • Concepts by date

    • Terms by date

The filters can be combined to optimize the search results.
