The new segments search method has been amended to allow even more powerful queries. It is indeed now possible to set a filter for a list of locales (instead of separate filters per locale). This implements a boolean OR whereby the filter must apply to any of the languages, at minimum 1.

QA rule "Date and Number check" enhanced

This change refers to the QA rule that verify that source and translation texts contain the same numbers and dates. The rule also optionally verifies language/region specific number/date formatting rules. The rule was revamped so that it (a) flags no more false positives and (b) Is much more explicit with the errors found. Indeed it prints the exact strings that are incorrect together with the character positions in the source or translation.

Word count profile: New option added to boost translation memory hits

The new option allows users to get an additional boost to hits that have the same context value as the segment being searched.
The context of a segment typically contains formatting information such as "Heading 1", "Hyperlink" etc. or, when localizing software, string IDs or keys. Specifically with software localization this setting should be increased.
Users will find this new option in "Settings" > "Word count configurations" > choose a configuration.
