When configuring an order form for a client to use within the client portal, there are two specific configuration tasks that must be completed. The first involves the configuration of the form header and links on the form. Second, you must configure each available option for requested work and the workflow for these user options.

If you decide to validate the order request before launching the project, you may want to: - keep the status of order and project to a standby value (Proposal/Request and Waiting/Preparing). This will allow you to verify the files submitted by your client or even further negotiate the costs for his request. You can further analyse the feasibility project based on the desired delivery (if available) or even contact your client back for further details which could help your team organise the linguistic project. All these actions can take place directly in the patform, as explained in the section managing translation orders.
- Mark the files for online translation and create the jobs, but not send the proposals right away. If you leave the option "Tick if any created jobs shall be started immediately" you will have time to verify the files in the CAT Editor and even leave additional comments to the suppliers before making the job proposals public.
This will allow you to register the order, check and analyse the files upon reception, check the availability of your suppliers or even contact the client in case further discussions need to take place to reach an agreement and kick off the project. Only when you pass order and project to status "In progress" the work will be officially launched.
