If your project manager allows you to work outside of Wordbee Translator, you will be given the possibility to export your jobs in Xliff or MS Word.
You will find below explanations on how to download the jobs and import them back for delivery.
- Exporting the job:
On the jobs page of your Wordbee workspace, select the jobs you want to export and then click the button Xliff/Word:
The following pop-up appears:
You can choose the exporting format and then select all the elements you want to export and then click 'Download'. Note that when you export in Xliff you can export the memory matches in a seperate TMX file that you will be able to upload when working on your own CAT tool environment.
- Importing the job back for delivery:
Once you have completed your exported job, you will have to import it back in your Wordbee workspace in order to deliver it to the project manager. You will find below the procedure.
When you are connected to your workspace , you should open the online translation editor of Wordbee by clicking 'Translate' next to the job you want to deliver:
Once in the translation editor, hover Documents and click the 'Xliff/Word' button and choose the 'Import' functionalityon Import:
Open the Excel file included in the archive to quickly find the urls of the online editor pages.
You can then select Drag & drop or select file to import a translated file from your computer.
Finally, import your translated Xliff or MS Word document (template downloaded from the translation editor). Don't forget to mark your job as completed to notify your project manager that your job is finished.
Note that the import has to be done document by document. A batch import operation will be added soon.
