This page is useful if you want to connect a Beebox project with a cloud sharing system such as Dropbox, Google Drive, an FTP or another mechanism. |
By default any file copied to the project input directory ("in") will be translated into all project languages. There may be cases where you want to choose the target languages on a case by case basis. This can be done from this page in two steps:
- Create folders inside the project "in" directory, for example "\Translate into French", "\Translate into Chinese"...
- Then use this page to assign a target language or multiple languages to each folder
- Finally, copy source files into the respective folder to kick off translation into a specific language
This page provides more information about the project "in" and "out" directories: The "in" directory is where you (or an API) place the source files to translate. The "out" directory will contain the finished and translated files. By default, the system translates source files in "in" into all project target languages. This page lets you customize the target languages individually per subdirectory.
Click the Directories tab in a project's Settings page:
All folders inside the project input directory are listed together with the languages into which source files are translated.
Click Edit to customize languages per folder. In the example below we changed the target languages. If you now copy a file into "...\in\ToFrench", Beebox will pick up the file for French translation only.
