How to get here

To export one of your termbases, proceed as follows:

  1. Go to Resources and select Terminology Databases from the drop-down menu.

  2. In Terminology select the database you would like to export. Resource details

opens

  1. will open.

  2. Click on the Export button to start the Export segments wizard.

  3. Select the file format you want to export.

  4. Download and open the file.

Select TBX, version 3 (*.tbx) - ISO 30042, 2019 if your termbase contains term alternatives, such as synonyms. All other formats export main terms in each language only but not the alternatives.

Tick/untick the languages you want to export.

Select source language.

Untick this box if you want to export all the records.

Filter change date

You can export filter the records according to the date and time when they were changed.

Custom fields

Use this setting to select segments for consolidation based on their custom field values. The system will select the segments for which the custom field values start with the typed or picked texts.

Filter by dataset

Dataset ‘Additions’

Text formatting options:

  • Text without inline tags

  • HTML with inline tags - best for data exchange

  • Friendly print outs that show inline tags (not for data exchange purposes)

If you need to import data back into Wordbee then choose the HTML option as it preserves the inline tags.
